Joseph Adesode Bazuaye is a result –driven litigation lawyer with 15-year experience. He is currently serving as a senior legal officer in the University of Benin. Possess an L.L.M. Degree of the University of Benin in environmental law. Adept at drafting and reviewing policies that reflects greater environmental consciousness and sustainable development. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association in good standing. Through the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) he has achieved advantageous settlements in 90% of cases. He has severally negotiated with opposing parties to avoid litigation (where needed) to reach resolutions and to achieve the goals of the University of Benin. He has attended several Bar conferences.

Barr. Bazuaye has held several positions including secretary to the University of Benin Committee on legal matters in 2010 till 2018. He was the Secretary for the Presentation of the selection of the New Health Maintenance Organization for the University of Benin in 2018. He has been involved in the definition and development of legal policies and procedures on human environments while advising on all environmental and individual rights.

Barr. Joseph Bazuaye was adjudged the winner when he delivered the lecture on “Causes and Prevention of Criminal Activities in University of Benin” at the 6th Legal Symposium and Award Ceremonies by the Students Union, UNIBEN in 2011. Barr.

Bazuaye has huge prospensity for legal research which he ceaselessly, attribute to Divine favour. Member of the committee to Reduce Reliance on external legal counsel in the University of Benin, 2019-2020. His research focus is on sustainable development and to ensure the right to live in a healthy and a balanced environment as a fundamental attribute of the people.

Barr. Bazuaye is married to Mrs. Ameza Victoria Bazuaye and are blessed with three children.
